Tech-nically Partisan?

Do you ever get the feeling that fans of Apple, Google, and Microsoft are a bit like the Liberal and Conservative Talking Heads on TV, radio, and the internet?

Check out the headline on this story:

Microsoft Launches Office 365, Google Apps Killer

I realize the headline is more of an attention grabber and probably follows the Microsoft media pitch. And I agree that companies should be consistent with accurate, positive messaging. But it seems like coverage (by fans and media alike) of the big tech companies can be about as partisan as Fox or MSNBC.
