DWS wanted to grow, but its branding and messaging were not up to task. Market Research revealed that awareness of DWS’ services and advantages were relatively low prior to execution of our Marketing Roadmap recommendations. The company also lacked an effective public relations or storytelling plan to share the DWS story.
Our Integrated Marketing Roadmap for DWS included Customer Positioning System (CPS)™ sessions with leadership to assess the company’s strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Our Market Research not only led to valuable insights on how the company could improve its marketing, it also led to new sales leads. We then developed and implemented an Integrated Marketing and PR Program to reach and influence business and industry decision-makers by telling the DWS story of safety, efficiency and talent.
DWS’ new messaging focused on “Safety First, Always” and “Local Team, Locally Owned.” The success of this messaging and the subsequent PR campaign is reflected in aPittsburgh Post-Gazette PowerSource section headline: “Why Zelienople’s Deep Well Services is sticking to its Appalachian Roots.”
DWS was able to implement our messaging recommendations and our sales and marketing strategy and experienced an incredible year of growth, recognized and promoted through scores of industry publications, which lauded the company as local, growing and “record-breaking.”
"The research that MASSolutions did allowed us to see and hear exactly what the customers were thinking at the time. It gave us an understanding of what we do best, and what we should be doing better at."
